Slim Fluted Parting Tool HSS, Robert Sorby 832H, 2 mm

New and unique parting knife with a blade profile only 2 mm wide. The long chamfer has a milled groove along the lower edge, which creates two sharp recesses on the cutting surface. These separate the fibers and create a smooth, almost polished surface that does not need to be sanded. The tapered profile of the front of the knife reduces the risk of friction and pinching in the cut. Cutting knife for very weak cuts, creating deep grooves and fine details.
